Right now i have 2 Kicker 12's (Kicker Comp CVR's) each in a 1ft³ sealed box running off of a Power Acoustik 980/2 amp. (Puts about 300W RMS to each, the subs are 400RMS) I oringonally put them in such a small box so i could save my rear seat, but after having it for a couple monthes, i realize it's only ever been used twice. My question is, right now the subs sound all right w/ the windows up, pretty good w/ them down, and crazy (punch in the chest) loud w/ the doors open. If i were to put them in a 2ft³ ported box for each (reccomended size from kicker), would this be inproved or no? Can the cab only make so much noise w/ the windows up and from there on nothing can get better? Please help, BTW, i have a 1998 Sport Club Cab. Thanks

What is happening is your truck is becoming a bandpass box. By putting the subs in a bandpass box you should get the sound you want, problem is bandpass boxes are generally bigger than ported boxes.
