right now, im runnin 2 10" Kicker solobaric L5 in a 2 cu ft sealed box with 500 rms watts goin to each.
i was wonderin how much different 1 10" in a ported box would sound. my amp (hifonics bx1000d) is capable of 1000x1 @ 1 ohm or 500x1 @ 2 ohm, so wiring is now worry to me (each sub is 4ohm DVC, wires down to 1ohm with both or 2ohm with one). will i notice a difference in the deepness of the bass? is it worth building another box?
i would really like to build a big ported box for both but i dont have the room. its a reg cab 87, and im not ready to do a blow through. i just want somethin that will be really low, right now it sounds excelent, dont get me wrong, i love it, but i would like to see how much i can actually get out of the subs... my system is set up for SQ right now, and i kinda wanna see wat the SPL would be.
