Message: I have a 98 club cab and I one amp under each seat, cd/mp3 changer and xm tuner in the center console, sub on the back seat and component speakers in the doors and flush mounted in the a-pilar, I put the componet crossovers behind the kick panels along with the power distrubtion block and put a cap in behind the rear side trim. just look at it and things will start to come to you.

Message: Depends on how much sound you want. What year truck? If it's a GenIII, there's a guy who makes a box for an 8', I think maybe a 10', that replaces the seat console. Then an amp could go under the passenger seat. There are some threads in this site that address the issue.

Message: you could go with 1 12 inch sub or 2 10 inch woofers. i would use jl audio and nothing else but its up to you the first thing you need to do is to measure to see how much air room you have first! that is the most important thing. what you do is multiply L x W x H wnd divide by 1728 this will give you how many cubic feet you have to work with. if you want to go with jl audio i would reccomend 2 10" W0 or W3 if you can fit them. the higher the number the better the sound but the more the air room and more money. jl10w0's call for .50-.90 feet each and anywhere in there you will be fine. and can push 125 watts each. jl10w3's call for .60-.90. and can push 300 watts apeice. you want to make sure your box is in that range or it will sound like crap. email me for more info on building box or subs. billiew5233@aol.com

Message: 10's are your best bet. either one or two. either way the box is gonna be small. and beware not to put too much power to it because if the cone of the sub is big, the first major hit is gonna hit the brackets in the seats, if you can try to get a shallow mount sub. unless you have a split seat then mount the sub in the middle revirsed to fit a 12".

Message: just build you a box or get someone to build you a box that goes behind your seats and can fit you two or one tens. you may have to go up a coulple of clicks on your seats to make them fit you should have no problem fitting two tens. and they sould be shallow enough toput subs in jl audio 10w0s are 4.31 in deep you have that much i know.
