I recently bought my second Dakota. I've been coming here for help with the typical problems we all have with the trucks. I'm begining to think that there is one thing we, as a group of Dakota owners should do. First we should track down that rotten SOB of an engineer who designed Daks with 6 3/4 inch speakers instead of easy to get 6 1/2 or 6 x 9 and kick his *ss. Then we should find that sick SOB that put the fuel filter in the gas tank. And the designer of the gas gauge. I'd also like to talk with the guy that designed the hoursesh*t power window motors in my wife's Caravan. I hope my Dak doesn't have those. I guess I'll find out soon when I pull off the door panels to replace the odd size speakers.

How about buying or making some 6 3/4" to 6 1/2" speaker adapters?
After thay you can kick the he11 out of the DC engineers for locating the fuel filter in the gas tank and putting crappy brakes and ball joints on our trucks ;)
