Hey, so i figure it's time for some more kick in my 1991 dakota sport 4X4, I have the pioneer DEH-P47DH head unit and new speakers in the stock locations, the truck sounds terrific! But subs would be really nice, The problem being I don't want to give up any cab room really, so heres the plan, tell me if it's too crazy or impossibe. For those with similar daks as me know that they have a lot of headroom in the front(at least I do), if I jack up the front seats about 4 inches, do you think I could run something like 8" subs? It might be crazy, any input would be great!!

Do you have the club cab or standard? If
you've got the club cab, get the thunderfrom
box. I know it sounds like a lot of dough for a
speaker box but you'll definitly be happy with it!

Hey, i have a 92' standard cab... i got 2 8" kicker Solobaric L7 subs.... and i have plans for a box that makes you only lose about 1-2 clicks on your seat movement from being all the way back... not bad eh?
the box allows .335 ft^3 of air space per sub, and they require a min of .33 ft^3... down to a science huh?
anyway, rumor has it that someone has 4 of these puppies in a box in their gen3 extended cab and is pushing 150decibles... id like to find out who so i can ask what amp their usin.
Ill get pix once my box is built in a couple weeks here. its made for 4 of these subs and is supposed to fit really well behind my seat.
