Hi all,...

I now have a 2001 Dakota Quad Cab and I have a 12" sub in a squarish box from my old car that I had in the trunk. I was toying with the idea of just running the wires so that I could fold up the back seat behind the driver and plug it in there, that way I could just unplug it and throw it in the bed if I ever have to carry four people.

I almost exclusively drive with only myself and my wife with an occasional 3rd passenger anyhow.

I know that some audio purists might say it's no good because it's not perfect. But will it work? Will my stereo sound better for it then without it?

For information I also have a Pioneer Primier DEH-P940MP head unit which I like very much. If I placed my sub here I would likely go ahead and set it up so the amp for it could sit underneath one of the seats, which ever wouold be best.

What do you guys think? I'm want to make use of what I got (because its nice gear and I dont want to dump money into new stuff) and I don't want to have to do any serious modifications to the truck interior (door panel mods or center consol mods).

Let me know!

HEY....

I have a 15" SOLO BARIC in my back seat, behind the driver's seat. The amp is on the floor boar under it.

I'm not sure on what you were asking though...

Does it work? YES
Does it look clean and neat having the stuff just sitting there? NO
Should you care? NO
