Message: Will A 2004 Club Cab Dakota fit a MDF box under the seat? I took out my tool tray and there isn't much room under there. Is there a difference between 2004 and 2003? Do you have to raise the seat up to get something to fit?

Message: Are you talking about the thunderform? If so yes it will fit in a 2004, I own a 2004 CC and it was a pain to put in but well worth it....

Message: To get box with a lot of air space from the irregular shape of the truck's floor you will need to use a molded box like a Thunderform or make a MDF sided box with a fiberglass bottom. If you go with a full MDF box you will be losing a lot of useable air space because of the limilations of designing an all wood box. Check out these enclosures, they have MDF top and sides with a fiberglass bottom.
