hey guys, some recommendations for a new amp would be great. ive got two jl audio 10w0's and right now im running them off a 4 channel amp, bridged down to 2 channel to power each one. ive decided that i want to use that amp to power my components and buy a mono amp thats more dedicated for bass. i dont need a ton of power, as the jl's are only 125 watt rms a piece. i think i want to be running them parallel with a mono amp. im more concerned with sound quality than spl's. i want an amp thats super clean and crisp, and that will make my subs sound really well. something with an external sub control that i couldnt mount up front would be good too. id like to pick one that i could get for $300 or less on ebay. thanks a lot everyone!

look at some of the rockford fosgate mono amps on thier web site. I use these every day and i love them! they are awesome clean amps and they put out power and cheap too.

forget the rockford fosgate crap. if you want the best amp, get a Memphis. Anybody who has ever had one will tell you that it is the best amp out there.

oh good, you just confirmed my decision. i was pretty set on the memphis 16-mc500d and now i know that i want it. its hard to find reviews for these things online, so you helped me a lot. thanks a lot.

well i would have to say memphis cause i have a 1500 class d,and well i have RF amp pushing the mids and highs and i have had 2 other RF amps and there great amps too.
