Subject: pORTED tHUNDERFORM IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone (like myself) thought about porting their thunderform? Has anyone actually done it?
I like the sound of a ported box, but I also know that there is alot of designing that goes into one(Not just drilling a hole and installing a tube. My guess would be that the thunderform enclosure is to small to function as a ported box, but Im still kicking the idea around. I can always patch the holes if it sounds bad...we will see

Message: MTX says 'Don't.' But then again, that's because they really don't know the effects. Although they do agree that if you plug it up again it should be just fine.

You are right... the box is WAY too small to cut a port into it. Besides, MTX should had done the "hard part" in already figuring out how to make that box sound its best (due to its "odd shape") and they chose not to port it.
If you cut into your box attempting to port it, you more likely are gonna ruin it... but hey, it's your box and your money. So do what you wanna.
Let us all know how it turns out.
