i have offically blown over 13 solobaric 12" L7's (3 year spand) including the newest sub just yesterday, (recieved july 10 broke it in, blew it up july 14) i am running one memphis 1000d to each sub. i am giving up on kicker cause i don't have the time to keep sending em in. i am thinking about teaming up both of the amps am putting em on one sub, or getting two different subs on em. basically i am tired of the damn square subs. what are some good subs ANY that can take a beating and make me go def by the age of 30? websites will also help.

13?...i think by about 5 or maybe 6 i'd got a different style sub...lol.I know that the memphis class d amps are bad azz cause i have a 1500d.I heard that alot of people think the solo's are sh!t they said the kicker cvr's are way better and i agree,i have 4 15's,but if you don't like kicker and have something against them cause the sh!ty solo's then i would recomend the poweracoustik mofo's my buddie had 2 12's and 2 memphis 1500d's and your a 1000 watts behind him and his never blew...the website is nexxon.com. Also are you hooking them up yourself if so get them done at a stereo shop then if it blows out its on them. I installed everything myself but then i started getting stuff installed in the long run its cheaper...lol.

WOW! thats a pretty small box, to be giving those subs all that power! thats probably why you keep blowing them... whats the volume of that box?? (.88 to 2.0 CU. Ft for a sealed box per speaker) (ported 1.75 - 3.25) those figures are from kicker's webpage.

Yeah lol, its not the subs, either you are just pounding the them 2 hard and completely distorting them or your giveing them to much power, or the box u have is just a piece or crap. Those kickers are almost industuctable if you use them probably i have 2 of them myself.

I let my Uncle read this (self proclaimed audio expert) and he said it aint the subs, its either the box or you having your sh!t outta wack.
