Nothing better than to have 600 watts of power at your fingertips.I only have two 8" Pioneer subs but you will be suprised at how much bass they produce in a RC.Then include my 6 speaker front stage along with my Pioneer CD unit and you have the makings of a kick a$$ sound. I totally love it!!!!Let me know what you are running the more the better!!!!

your not the only one, i have a 2000 cc 4.7 auto and i had the mtx thunderform at first but it just wasent enough so i pulled it out and went with six fosgate 12s in the back and i can still see out my back glass. i am still using my factories up front except for the tweets they didnt last too long. by the way using a alpine head unit a fosgate punch 360 on highs and a fosgate 800 on subs.

How in the hell did you fit 6 12" Fosgates in the back. That must be one hell of a box you got in there. Have any pics or suggestions. I have two 10" fosgate HE2's and they rattle everything in my truck and I had to dynomat the doors and the back. Just interested. PS: I also have four eclipse 6 1/2" speakers all the way around with the Fosgate 400.4a amp. Soon to have component speakers.

I have a I have 2 - 12" JL Audio W1's, Kenwood 150X2, Zapco 50X2, Boston Rally Series Components 6.5" Set, a Kenwood Excelion Headunit and a Pioneer Graphic Equilizer. I am in the process of building a center console to house my amps, eq, and some gauges!!!

It's gotta be loud, I have 4 AVI 12" subs in my cab powered by 1 crossfire 602 amp(600 watts) stock infinity mids and tweets up front and co-axails in the rear and a sony cd deck that is 52watts x 4 here are some pics.

Sounds cool everybody.I forgot to mention that my two Pioneer 8's are powered by a Pioneer GMX-722 and my 6 speaker front stage,which includes Sony Xplod 61/2 3ways in doors then my Infinity tweets and also my JBL 51/4 3ways in rear pillars,are powered by Kenwood SA300.When I used to be in competion I would run everything the same brand but since I don't compete anymore then I just go for the ones I like which is mostly Pioneer but there are alot of others that I like. I just thank for the price you can't beat Pioneer CD players and there subs.I have the newest Pioneer from 2000 and it has everything you could imagine.Well I will stop rambling on just thought I would share a little.Thanks for posting!!!!!

SuperDak no i went with a sealed box in the club cab, it get pleanty loud but i think it can do more with a little more power. i can only go so loud before my cd player starts skipping as well.
Richard it is a big box but i wanted it so i could still see out of my back glass so i had just about the right air space back there, i wish i had some pics but i dont for now ill try to get some later. by the way everything in the truck rattles i think my headliner is starting to come loose at the back.

It has to be loud no other way.....Got my Eclipse 5340 Head Unit, Kenwood 600Watt Amp, and 2 12" JL Audio Subs in a custom made box......Shakes the hell out of the truck......The best is when you pull up to someone who is bumpin' so you crank up your system and they can't even hear their's....hehe

I like it better when you roll up on some cars at a stop light and they have their windows down then within seconds they start rolling them up..... it makes me laugh cause a thin piece of glass won't stop it that much bass goes through. Even funnier when they start to plug their ears.

Had Kicker before two 12" Kicker Comp and blew them with my Kicker ZR 360.There subs suck but I like there Apms and tweeters.Also if you would read my signature I only have a RC so I am limited in what I can do.The best subs out there are Cerwin Vega,nuff said!!

I was gonna keep my mouth shut until kicker was bashed so here goes. The more the better? I think not! For someone who used to compete you know absolutely nothing. The only thing Pioneer or Sony I would ever buy is their head units. Everything else is pure crap. Kicker subs suck? Yeah, the L7 Solo-baric is horrible!!! hehehehe. Do your homework before you talk out your ass. Your front stage would get shredded by an SQ judge Xplod 3ways and then tweets, get real! Not to mention that you run 3ways for rear fill!! If your gonna have rear fill 3 ways are not the way to go as it pulls your front stage towards the rear. Muddy Muddy Muddy. This was bad enough but then it got better "The best subs out there are Cerwin Vega, nuff said" That was the icing on the cake! So they must be better than Crystal, Oz, a/d/s, Focal, IDQ, Audiomobile Mass, Diamond Macdaddy, Infinity Perfect, JL, MB Quart PWD, Should I even go on? The Stroker is for bass heads period! And your amps probably do more clipping than your local barber. Sorry buddy but your system aint even close to all that.

Hey Patrick, you want to talk, go to any of the online forums about car audio here on the net, you will get flamed off in one post with BS remarks like that. Beat your system..there is ALWAYS, someone better, I know of a guy who used ONE DD (bet you don't know what that stands for) subwoofer that hits around 171+...try that on for size.

The Quarts sound phenominal for SQ. They hit tight, hard & fast. They reproduce Metallica's And Justice for All album awesome. The song One is duplicated perfect.This is a tough tune for subs and the Quarts do it with ease. I find this to be a great album for testing the capabilities of one's system. On the other hand you can throw in some Nelly & they will slam! The only downfall is the price tag. I'm real loyal to my local shop cause they take good care of me otherwise I probably would have went with IDQ's. Great price for Great SQ. I believe they will fit the thunderform. Hope this helps.

So you've grown out of Metallica and now listen to more "up to date" stuff like the Backstreet Boys. Don't rip on Metallica dude. They are one of those timeless bands and yes, "One" is an excellent sampling track as are alot of Metallica albums and tracks. I have a 2000 CC. Where are you guys mounting your amps. Have both of mine under the seats but they don't fit there very well.

I always tune my customers systems to Metallica Black! I respect MB Quart very much, I use to be their biggest fan until I heard an explorer with Diamond Audio components and Mac Daddy subs, damn that's awesome. I am in the process of filling my QC with Diamond speakers and Fosgate amps/HU. Those are the only 2 companies I believe in now!

Backing everything the intimidator has already said.The cerwin vega fan does not want to pull into a lane,or an sq contest with dd subs.Someone else was lookin for a lil more power,I would suggest a mmats amp,its class d,very small,very powerful,does not get hot at all,and pulls much less from your electrical system.---waiting for 4 idmax 12's,runnin off two mmats d300hc's(3400+ watts),subs will be in the bed,firing in through the rear window cutout,(99 reg.cab RT)diamond audio front stage,4 mids,2 silks,might do some 8's behind the seats.Cant wait to hear it.

Yeah, but I could get a 8" piece of ABS and mount 2 drivers on either end, it would be custom, and sound really bad too, just like this car. If those trophies are for anything they are for install only. Nothing in that car is mounted for SQ. I bet the imaging is horrible.

What is the point? I've been in trucks that thumped so loud, all you hear is vibration, no music whatsoever. There are more aspects to music than just the low frequencies. My system can kill just about anyone's...in pure sound quality. Here goes: Panasonic head unit(with the cool glowing trim), 600 watt Jensen amp to speakers, Infinity Kappas in back, Rockford Fanatic Q components up front, dynamat covering both doors, 12" JL W0 sub behind seat(damn standard cab) powered by a 300 watt Rockford amp, Kenwood 9 band EQ in console, 1.0 farad strike cap. Damn, I think that's it. But, for all ya'll who want mind numbing bass, go ahead. Just turn your hearing aids up REAL LOUD so you can hear this little thing called treble!

I have that problem also I am runing Two Massive Competition Twelves' ran by JBl Amp soon to be 2 Massive 1000 watt amps off of a Sony Xplod M650 Cd Player but anyway has anybody figured a way to keep the cd player from skipping?
