Nice job on the kicks. How do they sound in comparison to using the the stock door location? Does the limited air space of the kicks affect the SQ?
I realy like how DC designed the front door speaker grilles, pointing into the floor??? Who was the rocket scientist who though up that one. OH well, at least the back speakers are up high and pointed level, not down.

the kicks sound REALLY good, but i'd like a bit more punch out of them....the drivers are more of a 'slim mount' design to get them under the ebrake, so they don't play down as low as i'd like either....they're actually in a bit of a AP enclosure, so the lack of airspace isn't that much of an issue, but they still need some tuning work...the next project will be an 8" in each of the doors. :)
as for DC, since the speakers are actually mounted flat against the door skin, i'm guessing the reason for the grills facing down is to keep water and stuff out, as it is still a possible 'work truck' for some people....
