i currently have 2 kicker comp vr 10s. they slam pretty hard. i love them. but my cousins has been getting me into rock music (lincoln park and such). i want a sub that can play tight and fast, some good drum sequences. plus those two subs take up alot of space on my back seat. i was thinking about selling my two cvrs and buying one solobaric L5 10. i have a rockford fosgate 900 watt 301s amp, when i turn the remote boost up all the way it sounds like those 10s are gonna blow to pieces. so i know i will have plenty power for the solobaric 10. should i do this?
thanks for the input.

hey... ya. i like the idea with the L5 10.

i currently am running 2 L5 10s in my 87. i have a hifonics bx1000d amp pushin 1000rms watts in the 2 subs wired down into 1 ohm. the box is sealed and each chamber is 1 cu ft. The thing is amazing.

I listen to alotta classic rock and new stuff, and country and everyonce and a while some rap. the subs in a sealed box are pretty tight and punchy, if the DB gain isnt turned up the whole way on the amp. but if i do turn it up, it rattles the hell outta everythin. so i have nice tight bass and really loud thumpy bass too, all depending on the DB gain setting on the amp.

so if your really into hard rock, it should work out for you, in my opinion.
