Message: Sooo, what are the line level inputs of your amp rated at, 2V, 4V??? It sounds like your clipping the amp with the 8V line level outputs of the Eclipse deck.

Message: my amps a 1500 memphis class D i dont think it would be anything to do with the amp, besides the fact that its wanting to turn on before the deck has time to.Dont know how to fix that though.

Message: my subs use to pop really loud too, and i had an 1100 directed class d amp, and the guys at my audio store told me it was the amp firing off but i didnt want to believe them because i paid like 500 bucks for the amp, but about 2 months later the amp completely melted down beyond repair so you might want to have the amp checked out before its too late to do anything about it...

Message: I think you need to pay heed to DSW.
The input sensitivity on that amp only goes to 5v

Message: subs popping at turn on/off has NOTHING to do with input voltages...push a higher voltage into an amp than it can take and it goes into protection...or it clips...clips being what it does playing music....a popping is caused by a DC source...not an AC source.....make sure you're ground on the deck(assuming you still have the DCX ground strap) is good....
dak75: what made you put an isolator in? did you hook the rca's from the isolator to the amp before connecting the ground?....99% of the time this problem is caused by the output transistors being fried when the caps in the amp charge for the first time....
