I have a 99 dakota r/t, and i want to take out the stock speakers and just replace them with something else. I was wondering if anyone ONLY did the speakers and nothing else. If so what kind, how much, and where at. Thanks

At first I could only afford to replace my factory speakers so yes. I replaced them with 6.5 Alpine Type R Components they are really nice because everything fits right in place with the standard factory setup. They sounded good but I later added an amp for more power. If you feel comfortable enough to take your door panel off which is easy I would just do them yourself. You can get the speakers off Ebay for 130 instead of the 300 they want on Crutchfield. The Alpine's are my preference but I would recommend trying out as many as you can.
