Subject: Inline fuse installation IP: Logged
Message: Hello this is my first time hooking us anything so i'm a little lost so can someone please help. I just bought a amp kit from KnuKoncepts.com and it has an inline fuse but i do not how to attach the two ends of the power wire to it.
it looks like this so please help.

Message: From the looks of it you'll have to strip away some of the wire casing, put one of the plastic ends over the wire, insert the striped end of wire into the connecter, and tighten town with a hex key. Then do the same with the other side. put your fuse in and connect both ends. hope that helps.

Message: thanks ? but there is another piece of metal in both ends of the fuse. I don't know what that is. it comes out and when i place it in the end the bolt goes though it?

Message: Just undo the caps, slide the bared power wire in, tighten down the bolt with an Allen key, and then screw the endcap back on. I like to mount it underneath the hood, so that if somethin does go wrong, it doesn't have to travel that far to blow.
