Message: If the reason it won't fit under the Driver's seat is the power seat box then put it under the passenger seat. Otherwise put it under one of the back seats or possibly in the center console.

The location is nice because my kid can't monkey with the changer since it's under his seat and I can reach it from the drivers seat. This is a Pioneer Premier 6 disc changer, P608 or something like that.
I heard someone say that a small changer will fit in the glove box also, maybe, maybe not??

Message: that looks nice!! my changer is a p565, it looks to be the same size as yours... i just have to be creative with it i guess. i have a ? about cd changers. if i have the changer hooked up to my cd player, can i still put a cd in my cd player and play it? the reason i ask is that if the changer is out of reach, that i can put in a diff cd. without having to pull the magazine and mess with the changer.... that would ease my worries about easy access to the changer.
thanks
