I bought the Alpine Type R components and they sound pretty good for the money. They sound pretty good for the money spent. I bought them off ebay for 120. Other than that you won't be able to find a set of components under 100

If you're willing to spend the cash...Boston Acoustics Pro Series Components sounds AWESOME. They retail for $500 but i found them someplace on shopping.yahoo.com for like $350. Although you need to amp them...

Go for the JL Audio XR 6.5"
They go for about $350
I was going to buy the BA Pro's but the XR's sounded much better to me.
I would be doubtful that any component for less than $100 is going to give much audio pleasure.

I have the Alpine Type R's which I bought off Ebay as well. These are very loud speakers that sound great. I would recommend them.

I have alpine 5.25 type X's in my '91 dak, and they sound unreal, and my brother has 6.5's in his neon, and they sound great! They cost a little more, but you definately get what you pay for.

You can get Infinity Reference Series 6.5" Components that both sound good and are good quality...you can find them on ebay for a little over $100.

Spend a few extra bucks and go with infinity kappa speakers, ultra clear and great mid-high range sound.
