Question,

I have a 99 Ex-Cab with the infinity sound package. On the steering wheel there are the volume-channel buttons. Are there any after marked head units that will work with these buttons?
Thanks

Z

You can make em work.
Thing is you got to know how. You have to get to the internal components of most decks to do this. but you can make it happen. If i were you I would go into a audio dealer near you and ask them what they think. Some audio dealers are good and hire good ass installers, some are crap and hire people that dont know what theyre doing. Ask around, check it out if your serious about it.

Uh, it doesn't quite work that way. Unless, of course, you think that any installer out there is going to know how to make an aftermarket head unit understand CCD bus commands.

They'll probably sell him this.

Not saying it can't be done- nearly anything's possible given adequate time and money. You'll have a hard time finding an installer on this planet who is capable of doing so, however.
