 Subject: Largest Sub for Quad Cab

I'm going to put 1 sub in my 02' QC. I was looking at the MTX Thunderform unit and it looks like you could fit a 12" behind the drivers rear seat. I can fabricate a box to fit behind the rear seat and I don't care if the seat can't lift up. Has anyone tried putting a twelve in that location? I keep hearing about airspace, will that location be too small for a twelve? Thanks

I had the same question a while ago. My advice.....Buy the thunderform, or buy multiple 8's. If you really want a 12, dont put it behind the seat, just lay it on top of the seat and hook it up with Quick connects. You can put it in different cars too......or you could always throw two 15's in the back and put a cover over it. (likely to be stolen)
