Message: Hey dodgeeeO, I've got Boston components in the front and Focal components in the rear. Where I mounted the rear tweeters is on plastic window frame towards the back window. I do NOT reccomend this setup, the tweeter sounds like it's right in my ear(because it is!!).
What I would reccomend would be to put the tweeters an inch or so away from the factory speaker grill at about the three o'clock position.
R/Truck is right, the holes are 6.75"
Also a Rotozip works great for cutting tweeter holes!!

Message: Or just don't worry about hooking the tweeters up in the rear, it will only pull your soundstage back. You want most of your sound to come from in front of you, the same effect as when your at a concert.

ref, 1999 Dodge Dakota SLT 2 dr
The dust cover slipped off and makes a horrible rattle on bass notes.
Thanks
