If i have a amp that uses an 8 gauge amp kit, Can i use a 4 gauge or not??

Yes you can; but you might have to trim some of the wire down so that the excess is not exposed and you don’t short anything out. The smaller the gauge the larger the wire, 4-gauge wire is larger than 8-gauge wire.
