Message: Simple. use either an amp with speaker level inputs or use a line-output converter. You'll want to tap into the outputs at the back of the radio, not from the factory amp or speakers.

Message: Why can't you just tap into the speaker level at the factory amp input. Seems it would be easier to wire down there behind the easy to remove kick panel rather than pulling the dash and radio.. Anyone done this or have input?

Message: When I first got my thunderform I just tapped in to the rear speakers, and ran it into an amp with high level inputs. I was swapping out the rear speakers anyways so it made sense and it worked fine.
