Subject: Thunderform install IP: Logged
Message: I just got an MTX Thunderform installed in my 2002 V6 Dak SLT this weekend. Only one gripe....turns out that evidently Dodge changed the spacing between the brackets that hold the seats. When you go to lower the seat, one of the brackets lines up perfectly with the slots cut into the Thunderform, and the other one is about an inch or so off, so I can't lower the seat. It's nothing that a Dremel tool with a cutting head and/or a sharp chisel/hammer can't fix, but still, something that MTX shoulda taken care of. I noticed that Dodge had an extra wide slot cut into their tray. I will say, however, that the Thunderform tray is much more substantial than the OEM tray is. And it sounds GREAT with the 2 Thunder 6000's in there. :-)

Message: I had no problem with my thunderform ('o2 cc Sport) except for the tight fit and the back screws not long enough. I just had to move my seats a littler higher so they would be level.

Message: I had the same problem with my thunderform...The fix is if you loosen the bolts where the seat attaches to the back wall of the cab you can slide the seats up a little. Once you've done this tighten the bolts back down and it should give you just enough room for the seats to lay flat on the T-Form
