I want to install aftermarket speakers in my dakota and I don't have power windows, so does anyone know how to pull the handle to roll down the window off so I can get the panel out of the way? Thanks

Im not positive, but there should be a little cover on the handle that you can pop off with a screwdriver. Dont force it too hard or youll tear it up. Under this there will be a screw.
Those books from autozone are invaluable for things like this.. and their only $15. Pick one up.

NICK THERE IS A TOOL FOR REMOVEING THE WINDOW CRANK CLIP WHICH HOLDS THE WINDOW CRANK ON. THE TOOL IS SHAPED LIKE A FORK W/ TWO PRONGS. YOU MAY NEED TO BUY AN EXTRA WINDOW CRANK CLIP FOR EACH DOOR IN CASE THE CLIP BREAKS. THESE CLIPS COST LESS THAN A $1 A PIECE. THEN THERE ARE A FEW SCREWS AROUND THE DOOR THAT NEED TO BE REMOVED. FOR MY SPEAKERS I HAD TO MAKE A CUSTOM BRACKET TO MOUNT MY NEW SPEAKERS IN THE FACTORY LOCATION. HOPE THIS HELPS!

Behind the window crank there is a clip that looks like this
I took a paper clip and straightened it out then bent a little hook on the end to remove the clip.
To reinstall it, put the clip back on the crank, hold it over the shaft & push it back on. Much easier than trying to install the clip with the crank in place!

i would hate to see the size of the crank, if THAT clip is behind it and he can't see it
