Yea 18's are tough to beat, I have a couple 10's in my Dakota and they do the job fine and they aren't in the way, I used a thunderform box. I've only got a 3.9 so you'd both prob beat me there! The dakota's are so solid too with the window up and everything, you can see the mirrors vibrate but it's quite outside, keeps you out of trouble. ;)

i canked my 15s, a while back with the windows open. it still made the actual doors on the outside visiably vibrate (i could see it from like 5' away!) and it was rattling the windows of my cousin's house (her husband set me up with these speakers, we were "testing" them LOL) and the rear cc fold out windows, were vibrating like crazy LOL!! (i was listening to "twista - make that a$$ roll like a 24")my pioneer premeir cd changer never skipped once though :-)
