Subject: Front and rear speakers stopped working IP: Logged
Message: I own a 99 dakota sport ext cab that may or may not still have the infinity amp (i got it used and it still has the tweeters but the rest is replaced)I installed a new head unit and my speakers stopped working. I checked my fuses, my wiring, I found a wire on the harness that the one from wallmart didnt have so i ran one thinking it was for the turn on for the infnity amp and connected it but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Message: IIRC there's one wire that clipped onto the back of the factory radio, this is the amp ground. tie it to a ground wire somewhere.

Message: Connect the blue remote turn-on wire..thatll turn the amp on.
To bypass it simply cut the wires before and after the amp(located in the lower kick-panel, passenger side) and connect the wires bypassing the amp, you may have to add a few inches of wire in there.
