Message: If I were you I would just do it yourself. It only take about 2 hours the first time and it is VERY easy. I had a write up that I made. I will see If I can find it.
The cost to put it in would be around 100 though I assume.

Message: YAY found it. This is just coppied and pasted over so I hope it makes some sence. Feel free to write back with any questions.
I have done this install so many times you could not imagin.
you need a #45 TORX.
I f'ed the HELL out of my my seatbelt trying to get them off without buying the torx. here is some advice.
JUST GO BUY IT!!!!!!!!!11!!!ONE!!
Go to sears (one of the only places that I found it). it is 4.56 and is worth EVERY penny.
Here are my install directions, This is the best I can do. they are for a 2000!!! clubcab (shouldbe the same)
1) you will need these tools
Phillips head screwdriver
torx #45 with ratchet
crimps
crimpers
wire cutters and strippers
2) gently pull the REAR panel off your cab (the backside of the seats. Start from the top plastic corner and gently pull from left to right (or right to left does not mater). DO NOT WRENCH IT! Be soft!
3) You will now see 4 metal Phillips screws holding the side panels in. Unscrew them and place them somewhere safe. I use the ash/change tray.
4) Go to your seatbelts. GENTLY pull the plastic cover FROM THE BOTTOM, till it snaps free. Place these somewhere safe (like the center console).
5) Get out your trusty #45 torx that you bought. And wrench the dam thing off. Mine must have been applied at about 400 foot lbs of tork...lol.
take the blots and put them somewhere safe. Remember that the LONG one go in the back, short in the front.
6) now open your rear windows (just do it don't ask)
7) with the rear window open gently pull from the TOP REAR of the plastic. there should be 4-5 plastic holder things. They come off in the same fashion as the rear seats.
8) you are now oh so close. Hehe. Do the same as the top on the bottom plastic side panels. Top back to bottom front. Unfortunately you can not take this panel off without removing you bottom seatbelts, which I Think is a waist of time. Just pull them outside with the seatbelts attached, or pull them back into your body.
9)YAY now you can get to you speaker. I assume you know how to do this because it is a DUH, but remove them with a Phillips head screwdriver. You will need to cut and strip the Rear wires.
10)Unfortunately I do not remember the wire codes. Bit I do believe that the rear a left light and dark purple. and rear right light and dark green. Those may NOT be correct, but you can figure it out. The light color is POSITIVE dark is NEGATIVE.
11) Just wire it all up and use the 6 3/4" adapters if you need them.
12) Then BEFORE YOU PUT IT ALL BACK TOGETHER.
PLEASE
PLEASE
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
TEST the darn thing to make sure it works. You do NOT want to be like me and put everything back to find it does not work.
13) then just reverse all my steps and you should have it all working.
P.S.
DOH after reading my post I forgot to add, the front seatbelts are a pain. When you remove the top plastic panel you have to turn it sideways to get the seatbelt adjuster to come off. When replacing the top part, unfortunately I do not have as good of an option. I center the seatbelt adjuster knob and SLAM the hell out of it till it pops back in. So far nothing rattles and the plastic is not warped. If anyone has a Better option I would be most thankful.
Well hop this helps. remember #45 TORX :)
Always Thankfull,
Ben J.

Message: JEBUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
UI must be fully retarted. Those are the instructions to remove the speakers....stone me now.
Anyway to remove the rear tool tray you need to do the same thing as I posted above, but the only thing else you need, Is once your side panels are removed, To get a 6" extender on your socket wrench, and remove the bolts for the tool tray.
The tunderfrom just goes right in where theold tray was, eazy peazy.
Sorry if that made no sence but I am at work right now.
Feel free to write back anytime.
Always Thankfull,
Ben J.

Message: Well, first of all are you just installing the thunderform with the stock deck? Or do you already have a new deck installed?
Part of the process is the same no matter what. You have to get a power lead to the back if your truck from the battery. You have to run signal wires to the amp, and you have to run a remote wire to the amp (unless you have the tforms with the built in amp)
I highly suggest that you invest in 4 gauge wire for your power. Amps take a lot of power, and a smaller wire tends to make them "choke" Running the wire from the battery is really easy, and can be done in about 15 minutes. The way I did it is, I ran a length of copper rod through a pre-existing grommet in the firewall (located near the master cylinder) cut a hole in the grommet, Get the rod through the grommet, attach the power wire, and pull the wire through.
Pull the side panel and floor panel out, they are merely held by friction clips, so no tools to remove. The door trim has tabs at either end, so be careful not to break them. Pull in the middle first, then to the ends. Flex the trim piece to release the ends.
Run the wire under the carpet and all the way to the back. I didn't remove the rear panel to install mine, but you can if you want to, it might be easier. (and you need to remove the rear panels if you need to splice into the rear speakers for signal [factory deck or deck without preamp outputs]) Run a signal wire along with the power wire. This wire can just be a 22 ga wire and connects to the remote turn on lead on the stereo. (Only if needed, if amp turns on automatically when it senses signal, you don't need to do this, the built in amp doesn't require this)
do the same procedure on the opposite side with the RCA/Signal wires.
