Im sure you could just open it up and add the port if you like ( dependsing on if it is a slot or watever)
though might be easier to make a whole new one
and the size of the box is going to want to be different since you are going from a sealed box so if you do your little sealed conversertion it might not sound good( air space and other stuff)
so in the end yes
i recommend no

No, sealed boxes are normally 1/2 the air volume of ported boxes so your not going to have enough air volume for a ported box. Unless,, you lucked out and the sealed box you have is the proper air volume for a ported box for your sub, I doubt this though.

would my subs hit harder if they are in a ported box or in a sealed box, right now they are in a sealed pushed by a 200w planet audio amp. the subs are 600w ma audio. thanks

well i guess it would help if i got a bigger amp for my subs. the amp i have is only a 200w and the subs are 600w each.
also, my system feels like it hits harder in the afternoons than in the mornings or is it just me.
