i love this speaker, incredible clear and the fastest reacting ported sub and box I have ever heard plays drum rolls flawlessly, almost wish I had tuned th box a little higher though.

It is very loud, many people descibed it as a SQ sub that happens to get real loud.
I had two x-series xtant 12's the hexagon ones and its louder then those. alos louder then my three mtx tens. in the tning frequency of the box, I get a breeze that comes out the port and blows past my left side. The only time I would say the xtants were louder was in the 4cube lot ported box I had, but I tuned that box real high. if tuned at aaround 35hz I doubt you would ever not like it. on the new juvenile sonds, my life it makes my eye lids vibrate, and blurs my vision.
the max and all id subs sometimes have a bit of vc alignment issues, but ID has amazing CS the owner of the company handles texh issues directly himself, and walked me through trueing the speaker with my cell phone on speaker, also told me if I messed this up he'd send me a new sub.
John, the idq's are nice subs as well, my firend has a new id 10 in his cc sonoma and it sounds good, enough bass to be happy with I wanted something that would quake enough to make people be like holy sh@# thats only one twelve. So I went max.
would buy it again anyday.
