The amplifier i'm getting says
440 x 1 RMS @ 4-ohm Mono

Message: i bought a dual 2-ohm rf 8" he2 sub, and you can wire it for a single 4-ohm load- i believe this is what you need to get.

Message: 94dakota is correct. Just wire your sub in series to get 4 ohms.

Message: yes get the dual 2ohm, and wire in 4ohm and if you get a better amp that is stable down to 1ohm you can always wire the sub in 1 ohm
