Message: IDQ's are good. Just watch the depth of the sub.
That is all I can infer from your post at this time. But IDQ is a very good company.

Message: Ben. thank you very much for your insight. I really appreciate it. Does anyone else know how to read the T/S parameter. Maybe can tell me what values should be high and what values shoudl be low.
THANKS

Message: The T/S specs are more for box building, you can't really judge a sub by it's specs alone since the sound comes from what happends to that sub once placed in a given box.
The only #s that are really helpfully are -
xmax: this is how far the cone moves, bigger numbers are better, but only if you have power.
Fs: the free-air resonant frequency of the sub, lower is better as that means the speaker natural vibrates deeper.
Read this for more info: http://www.bcae1.com/speaker.htm
Both are excellent subs with the IDQ getting a slight edge in SQ from my research, but I've never actually heard either sub to compare.
