Message: Anyone every heard of them. What do you think about them. I have the components and coaxels in my truck and it sounds pretty good. Its all powered by my pioneer deh-7500 head unit. Sometimes there is a poping noise coming from one back speaker. Its not all the time just everyonce in a while it does this, then it goes away after I turn the volume down. They arent distorting at this volume level and shouldnt be doing this. They are rated at 75 rms and at the most are geting 50 so I am not over powering them. Any ideas?

Message: Gains on a head unit? He said he was running the speakers off the head unit not an amp.
If the speakers are rated at 75W rms and the Pioneer deck is 50W the speakers shouldn't "pop". The deck is probably rated at 50W peak and putting out around 25W rms, so the speakers should sound fine unless there's something wrong with the speakers or wiring. Make sure the wires going between the deck and speakers have good connections, soldered or crimped, no twisting the wires together and covering it with electrical tape. Once you have checked the wiring try swapping the speakers and see if the problem follows the speaker or stays in the same location, easy way to track down the problem.
If the speakers are good quality they shouldn't be bottoming out causing a popping noise.
