Hey, i'm just wondering..does it really matter if you mix and match stereo components?
I.E: I have infinity speakers and I plan on getting an Image Dynamics sub, and a Pioneer head unit

The general rule is that you can mix and match everything except your mids and highs. Also dont buy for example a pioneer sub and a MTX sub. For speakers if its the same musical range use the same brand and try to keep them as close as possible to the same model. For example a Infinity Kappa in the front and a Infinity Kappa in the rear.
