that would be enough for that setup though i would go with a 1500D Brutus amp on ebay... 1500 watts, its like 280 shipped.. just watch wat you set the gains too

Message: I love Hifonics amps... been running them for years. They are well worth the $$ and impossible to blow 'em.
Thier Nemesis line is not the best, so I'd stick with Zeus or Brutus versions espeically for powering the Solo Kickers.
Yes you could run the 4 channel amp bridged down to 2 channels @ 4 ohms. Just buy two Kicker DVC 2 ohm subs wire 'em to 4 ohms (series) and put one on each of the bridged channels. You'd have 400 watts per subs in stereo this way.
Or if you go with Brutus get the DVC 4 ohms subs, wire in parallel to 2 ohms then in parallel again back to the amp for a final 1 ohm load. You'll get 500 watts per sub this way. The BX1000 will be fine, you don't need the BX1500 unless you plan on upgrading to the L7 subs.
The 4 channel amp will be more flexible for future upgrades as you could run 2 sets of stereo mids, or a set of stereo components AND a single sub with the built-in crossover. But if you looking for pure power the Class D mono amp is the way to go :)
