are audiobahn amps any good? im lookin into buyin a A8002T amp for about 200$. it is 200x2 @ 4 ohms stereo and 800x1 @4 ohms bridged. i have heard that their amps are decent but subs suck (except for the high end ones), this true? i like the build of the amp, its not gigantic, and it has a built in cooling fan. it got good reviews on different sites. but im still skeptical.

i want to power two kicker solobaric L5s (handle up to 450 rms each) with this amp bridged. the subs can be wired into 4 ohms, i got that covered already. ive heard the L5s, and like em alot, but i have never heard wat the audiobahn amp sounds like.
an will 400 rms watts per sub be good enough? iv read that if you give the sub atleast half its rms, it will sound good. true?

I HAVE A 4 CHANNEL A4004T AMP that puts out 50x4.
It does ok enough.
plenty of US made amps out the there that are better.

There are better amps for the $ then those Audiobahns - like HiFonics for example :D
As for the subs, I have an L5 and recommend you give it the full rated power, they don't sound good underpowered - the heavy, stiff cone is to blame. They like medium to large ported boxes too. I'm running mine sealed and it's not ideal really from what I've learned since buying it, so I'm switching subs soon.
Get the DVC 4 ohm models, wire each to 8 ohm (series) then wire both sub back to the amp in parallel to give a final load of 4 ohms.

ur tellin me i can find a hifonics amp for $200 that'll put out 800 watts.. where??? id prefer the better one, but im on a real limited buget.

Everyone I've talked to about my box tells me to make it larger and port it. I'm not happy with sound as is, the upper bass (50-80Hz) tends to get muddy. The sub goes very deep/low, it's just not very loud. Maybe I'm just being too picky ;) This seems to be a combination of speaker being slightly underpowered and the box being small and sealed even though it's to Kicker's recommended specs. Since I don't have the room to make it bigger and/or port it I'm switching to a Image Dynamic 10".

I have the A6004T and I like it alot. I also have a RF 400.1 amp. The RF gets way too hot in my opinion and they said that you can turn the gains all the way up and it wont distort. I did this and blew my Infinity Perfect 10.1 sub.
Im going to be getting the A8000T too and its on sale @ Ike Sound for $180. I'll be using to power either 2 ed10k's or 2 Polk MM104's.

If your using it to power 2 subs I'd definitely get the A8000T instead of the A8002T. You can wire your subs in parallel and deliver 800Wx1 into a 2 ohm load. You can not wire your speakers parellel using the A8002T unless your speakers are 8ohm speakers. So if you have 2 4ohm speakers you'de have to wire them in series delivering 200 X 2 at 4 Ohms Stereo. With the A8000T you can deliver 800 x 1 at 2 Ohms Mono.

I have the audiobahn A8002T and 2 dual 4-ohm AW1200Q what's the best way to wire them? Any one know FOR SURE? No guesses please.

here's what u do, (if you own one) take your audiobahn amp, and break it, throw it outta window, do something to make it non functional, so that others won't find it and use it cause AUDIOBAHN IS CRAP AND WILL ALWAYS BE CRAP. get memphis, get old school punch amps, ZAPCO. something worthwile anything but Audiohbahn...
BOYCOTT AUDIOBAHN.
