Subject: MTX Thunderform 'mounting diameter' IP: Logged
Message: I just got an MTX Thunderform, and basically I am trying to figure out what kind of sub to get. The problem is, due to the good deals I can get through the Navy Exchange (I'm in the military) I can only order the sub. I'm trying to find out if anyone knows if I need to know a 'mounting diameter' for a subwoofer, or if anyone knows if pretty much all 10" subs work. Specifically, I'm trying to get 2 Sony XS-L1035 subs. Will upgrade to MTX Thunder 6000's later. Any help would be appreciated.

Message: Any normal 10" sub should work, the sony will be fine. It is when you get to the big 10s that the magnet gets in the way.

Message: Good to know; I know what you mean by the 'big' 10's. Thanks.
