Subject: MTX Thunderform 'mounting diameter'
IP: Logged

Message:
I just got an MTX Thunderform, and basically I am trying to figure out what kind of sub to get. The problem is, due to the good deals I can get through the Navy Exchange (I'm in the military) I can only order the sub. I'm trying to find out if anyone knows if I need to know a 'mounting diameter' for a subwoofer, or if anyone knows if pretty much all 10" subs work. Specifically, I'm trying to get 2 Sony XS-L1035 subs. Will upgrade to MTX Thunder 6000's later. Any help would be appreciated.

Any normal 10" sub should work, the sony will be fine. It is when you get to the big 10s that the magnet gets in the way.

Good to know; I know what you mean by the 'big' 10's. Thanks.
