Okay...I need to know which fuse the radio is on. I dont have the owner's manual and my fingers hurt from pulling them.:)
I might get some help with the problem as well.....I just put some new 6.5" speakers in the door where the factory 5.25"s were. This was the first time i put the volume over 60 and my radio just shut off out of nowhere(the music didnt fade, the screen didnt blink, etc...it just shut off like someone turned the power off.)
Could this be anything besides the fuse?

kinda the same thing happened to me with my stock radio and its screwed now...somethin burnt out inside cause my fuses were still all good and when i put my new deck in everything was fine again....

oh ya if its an after market deck there might be a fuse on the back of the deck that could have blown..

My pioneer did the same thing...Try the fuse box under the hood, drivers side, 5 amp. I changed to 7.5, so far no prob....
