Did you get the component system with the 1 inch tweeters? If so any ideas on where to mount them? I ask because this is my next stereo upgrade.

I took the panels off without any special tools. There is a metal clip that is behind the door cranks, the toughest part was putting that back on, not getting it off. other than that, just remove the 4 or so screws in the door, and the panel should lift up, then out. All that is left is the clip that attaches from the door handel to the lock, but that can be removed with the door half off.

How did you remove and reinstall the clips on the window crank and door handle?

I made my own "tool" for the job. I found a metal bracket that was about the thickness of a quarter, about 10 inches long and 3/4 wide. I bent the end of it a few degrees to make the job eaier, there is a c-clip behind the crank and in front of the plastic "washer" that is between the door and the crank. if you look closely you can see it. it pops right off, but be careful it doesnt pop off too far and you lose it. reverse the process to get it back on, though it was tricky. the cranks come off once the clip is removed.

once you get the panel halfway off you should be able to see the clip for the door handle. there is a plastic piece that pops over a metal rod near the handle. It should pop off by hand. this is vague, but you will know what i am talking about once you see it.

the window cranks are definitly the worst.
I used a metal coat hange with a bent tip to remove the clip that holds them on.
the secrete to putting them back on is putting the clip on the handle, just as it would be when it is all together, and then simply push it on.
Don't forget the screw under the door handle either,
and remeber to puu up when you remove the panel, or you're going to damage some retaining clips

Most parts stores carry the tool for the window crank spring. It is really inexpensive (a couple of bucks). Just as Adam ststed to re-install simply clip spring on crank handle and push handle onto the regulator shaft, shaft is tapered on the end so the spring expands and snaps into groove to hold handle in place.

Wow, I never thought about putting it back on that way. I guess I got good enough at putting the clip on later that I never tried anything else.
