I want to fit one or two 10" subs behind or under my seat in a reg cab 95. If you have a model before '96, you'll see that there is not much room. Any ideas?

Hey, I had two 10" Comp VRs behind my seat...Just scooted them way the hell up and had little leg room to work with, but it'll fit. Box was custom made and it sounded pretty damn good i think.

well, that's what i was afraid of. I really didn't want to scoot my seat all the way up. a little bit is ok, though. If I could fit them under my seat, that would be terrific, but I still have to see if there is room or if i can make some modifications. Thanks for the tip, Danny.

Maybe you should check out Audiobahn's new line of subs called the Pro Compression Pistons. They only require 4.5 inches of mounting depth. They fit really nice in my 95 R/C. Another plus is that they are rated at 1000 watts rms for the 10's. The 12" use the same amont of mounting depth and are rated at 1200 watts rms. Hope this helped.

i have a black regular cab dakota. I also have two JL 12's with a 1200 watt punch amp. I have not lost any leg room at all. I built the box. I don;t care what anyone says about me losing leg room, I didn't.

I have two 10" behind my seat. I only had to scoot it up one click forward. They hit pretty hard. I made the box myself. It is over the recommended box volume, which I guess is a good thing.
I might be able to go out and get the deminsions for you if you want them, but its pretty cold out there.
