1. Yes
2. Yes, just might require some custom mounting bracket.
3. Personal choice. Alot of headunits these days have built in EQs of some kind. My Clarion controls an external (and optional) EQ/DSP processor. It's nice to be able tweak various frequencies based on my mood, the type of music or how it was recorded.

If you can find one, Metra made a Metal series batch of dash kits for the chrysler standard bracket.
