Message: I'm definately a new at the car audio thing but i want to know where to put a good sub into a quad cab. I read a couple of post and i got some for the back seat and one for the armrest. Does anyone have any plans for putting a sub under the front armrest.
Thanks

Message: There was also a post a year, or more, ago, where they had a box built (...think expensive...) where they remove the center section, removed the upholstery, "gutted" the center section cage, and built a box that fit inside the cage. Then they pulled the removed upholstery over the box.
The airspace was engineered to fit a sealed 8" sub. It looked very good, it sat about an inch higher then stock, and the armrest still worked. But as I recall it was a $250-300 operation just for the box.
