Subject: best 10" sub under $100?
IP: Logged

Message:
im looking to buy one of those q-logic truck boxes- the 6510se, with the qXe adjustable ring. I'm pretty sure this will fit behind my seat, but i will have to doulbe-check this- if not, then i will have to buy the 8 inch version, which is an inch shorter on both top and bottom depths. Anyways, what do you guys think is the BEST sub, that will work with only 0.66 cubic ft, under $100?

Are rockford fosgate subs that good- because im looking at their specs- and even like the 90 dollars ones- they only go down to 35 or 30 Hz- not into the low twenties- is this true- that rockford fosgates cant get low as others, like infinity kappas or alpines or kenwoods- which can go as low as 19hz, or 26 or 28 or 30. I of course want of sub that can handle very lows- so should i forget rockford fosgates? what are the next nicest (cheaper) subs after kappas?

Just in case i have to opt for 8inch subs, what is the BEST 8 inch sub?

Thanks

FOR THE BEST 8 INCH SUB I WOULD GO WITH THE ROCKFORD FOSGATES, BUT PERSONALLY I DONT PREFER THE 8'S THEY SUCK, BUT ROCKFORDS WOULD BE YOUR BEST BET. CHEAP, AND HIGH QUALITY. :)

Go for the RF's. Thier new series of 10" subs for this year is designed to work optimally in .65 cu ft of air, model# P110S(4 or 8), P2110S9(4 or 8), etc, etc. Some of RF's older subs would work in .65 of air, but weren't disigned for .65.
