Subject: Q-Logic 10” Sub Box Dimensions

hey, i went to best buy and listened to the subs there- boy some of them are awesome! that was actually that first time (other than being in my friends car a few times) that i listened to subs that close. Anyways, I really want some subs in my 94 dakota single cab (about 6 inches behind me).

So my question is, does anybody own the QLogic 10" box- model QLT6510SE ? It retails at circuit city.com for $70 and crutchfield for $65- ive looked online, but couldn't find it less than i think 55 or 60- does anybody know a cheaper place to buy them? Also, what are the EXACT dimensions of it? It says they are only 5.25 inch depths- but it is a "wedge"- like a trapezoid from the side, so what is the top depth and the bottom depth- the heighth and width aren't a concern, at least i dont think.

Is it worth that much money - 70 - to buy? Is a homemade box really that much worse than a premade box?

Also, the cubic feet is only 0.65 ft, and i know some of the nicer subs need more air space to work with, so can anybody recommend a good sub (im thinking 400-800 watts max- if its like 1000 wats max, and requires so much power, i wont be able to afford an amp), not the cheap 250-400 watt max ones- i know i can buy those 70-100 buck subs cheaper on the internet, for like 50 perhaps. ANybody recommend a 10" single sub that fits well with only 0.65 cubic ft?

Thanks so much

Try these truck boxes. The company is pretty reliable too.
