Subject: System question... IP: Logged
Message: Aight, I've got a 99 Dak Sport Standard cab. I'm looking at putting in a Memphis MC104D 10" Sub with a MC250D amp pushing it no problem. The guy that's doing the install, (friend of mine who owns the shop) is gonna build a box for it, with everything installed being $380. Good deal.
Here's my question. We've been looking at putting it behind the Driverside, (although I'm thinking about putting it behind the pass. seat because I've moved the jack into the bed). and then mounting the amp behind the center console because I have the 40/20/40 seats and not the bench. How bad do you think this will effect the sound quality, being right up against the seat, and are there any better places you guys know of to put a boxed 10 in the standard cab.
I guess that's it. Thanks in advance for the help! Later

Message: I have my sub behind the passenger seat...its amp mounted under my seat...and the speaker amp mounted on the back wall behind my seat...works great and I personally didnt want to be vibrated to no end with a sub behind my seat...
