I bought a couple enclosures from BlackDak20 that will accomodate 3 8" Solo Barics. One of the boxes had a recessed area on the back who's purpose I couldn't figure out. Turns out that when the enclosures are mounted, the vent on the left side of the truck fits nicely in the recessed area. Talk to BlackDak20 and he'll give you some pics of the enclosure I bought from him. They work nicely, but I had to trim the insulation from the back of the cab to make them fit. Perhaps he would consider making a pair of enclosures for you.
Hear that BlackDak20? If you can crank out more of those enclosures, you might be able to rake in some $$$.

i went and measured the holes that the vents fill. they are both 3 3/4 X 7 7/16 inches. if you take out the vents there is just a hole to the outside. not a good idea. you would have to plug the holes or fill them. fiber glass? i know someone can come up with something. if yall out there have tried to fix the air vents let us know.

I worked around them because (as jam0o0 said) removing them leaves a BIG hole in the back of the truck - that's NO good! Fiberglass seems like the easiest way to cover them. My problem was how do make sure it's sealed? The only way is to remove the bed and run a bead of silicone around your fiberglass patch. The though of water getting between the patch and metal scared the crap out of me... that why I just worked around them.

ok well i tried the tape idea. put duct tape over the vents because i just wanted the rattlinmg to go away for the time being. it worked, no more rattles. but the problem is that now everytime i turn on the AC my ears pop. i know it's cuz the pressure changes. anyway i took the tape off about half of one of the vents and now the ear problem is gone. but my ears still feel weird at the 3rd and 4th fan settings. i guess i'll just have to use the recirculate. the rattling is still gone so for now i got mine fixed. sorry for long post.
