 Subject: Alpind SPS-1729 Speaker

As I wait until Spring and the "refueling" of my Savings account, I'm pretty much settled on Alpine equipment for my stereo upgrade. I've basically decided on the CDA-7875 for the CD receiver and would like to purchase Alpine speakers. In my search, I notice that the SPS-1729 speaker is defined as "over sized" 6 1/2. Do any of you have these speakers installed in your truck? If so, how was the install and what do you think of the sound from these speakers?

i have an alpine CDM-7857,its last years model i believe,for sale.its in great shape, ill take 175 for it. also have 6 fosgate 12s a punch 800.4 and 360.2 for sale as well.
