Message: I have a 89 Standard cab 4x4 and I made a box for two 8inch rockfords. I think they sound pretty good. They fill in the low end but there not too over powering. They work well with the boston componets I put in the doors. It depends on what youre looking for really when it comes to subwoofers. Two tens in a lil cab is prolly gonna boom pretty good. I know my 8's do when Im really crankin on it depending on what im listening too. You also have to think about how much leg room you want while youre driving. I went with 8's because I like to have the seat back all the way so Im comfortable driving. You also have to get creative when mounting amps. My componets and 5x7s in the rear are ran by a 4 channel I stashed under the passenger side of the seat. The subs are ran by the two channel in the space I made in the box.
