 Subject: help! how to remove door sill

help! i am trying to pull up the carpet on the drivers side foot area, and i need to pull up the plastic stock sill. it appears to be held on by some clips, but i can't figure out how to remove it without breaking the clips.

If you have a newer dakota, ie 01-03 or so, then they are just clips, just work them up gently

As the above poster said, just gently pull from the FRONT to back. They come off very easly and are put in in the same manner. There will be some small plastic tangs that you will have to get into a grove on the reinstall but one you have it off all is very straght forward.
