outside of my truck, in the small gap between the end of the cab and the beginning of the bed there are 2 vents on the outside wall of the cab of the truck. when my subs are hitting, these vents rattle pretty bad and i dont know how to stop this. have any of you had this problem? how did you fix it? or does anyone know how i can get rid of this.

I have heard from a small bird that the vents are there so when you have any air on (ac/vents/heat) the vents will let out the pressure that builds from having air pumped in.

Always thankfull,

alright. but im wondering how i can get these vents to stop rattling. the gap between the cab and bed is too small to get any access to the vents and i was thinking maybe i could take the back of the seat off inside but i dont know what i could do to stop the rattling if i even could get to them.

Hey,

You can just take off the seat back if you have a club cab. It is just held on there with some plastic push pin type thingys. They come off easly (pull from one end and just most along). There will be a black plastic pad thing behind the seat back which you can lift up to see the vents behind them.
Maby you can just slap some good old duct tape on the edges and it my stop them from rattling. Try it and tell me what happens.

Always Thankfull,
Ben
